Contents of the Judo-CD

This CD ROM presents the official training program of the German Judo Federation (DJB e.V.) from the white to the orange belt. As such, it can be used by beginners and more advanced persons over a period of at least 2 years. Videos, animations, drawings and comprehensive texts instruct the sport of judo very vividly. The knowledge that has been learned is tested in a playful manner. Games involving puzzles, sorting and numerous search landscapes support learning. A lexicon with 350 technical terms helps to intensify one's knowledge of judo. The audio reproduction of the Japanese words makes it possible for the user to be able to pronounce the words correctly. Many terms are made clearer by means of pictures of animations. An extensive help menu and the assistants Jupp and Jutta lead you through the program.«  |
In the chapter "What is judo?" you get into a search landscape. Questions on history, equipment, competition, registration and many, many other things are answered in it. You have to seek the answers in the various scenes (dojo, contest hall, room and Japan). Useful addresses from the sport of judo allow you access to further information. «  |
The various techniques are demonstrated to you impressively on this stage. You can switch back and forth between drawn pictures, animations and video sequences of actual contests. Extensive text descriptions are provided for every phase of movement of the described technique. The stage is linked with the lexicon. This enables you to look up unknown terms used in the technical descriptions. «  |
