Preface

This Judo CD-ROM is the first interactive learning aid of the German Judo Federation (DJB e.V.) ! Perhaps this CD is even the first instructional CD about judo for children in all of Europe or in the entire world. The idea, concept and design of the contents were developed by Regina Philips, 9-fold German Judo Champion, European Vice-Champion, Third place in the World Championship, certified sports instructor and media designer. As the former National Trainer of the Under 16 Girls' Team and Boarding School Trainer for TSV-Abensberg, her ideas, impressions and experience gained in instructing judo to young persons of various ages have gone into this CD. The CD was programmed and produced by kesel film & media, Munich. In the following pages we want to give you a look at our comprehensive program. In addition, we look forward to getting criticism, praise and suggestions so that possible follow-up projects and updates can be even better. It would also be fantastic if these pages became a meeting place for young judo enthusiasts in order to exchange addresses, start up and maintain new friendships and integrate them into a common network.
